1098s are issued when you pay $600 or more in interest on a mortgage loan. If you paid $600 or more in interest, you will receive a 1098 form in the last week of January through RCU Online banking and through the mail. The form will be located on the Statements tab under Tax Documents in RCU Online Banking within your E-Statements. If you paid less than $600 in interest on your mortgage, you will not receive a 1098.
You may also access your year-to-date mortgage interest paid at any time through either of the following methods:
- Online Banking: From the account summary page, click on the loan you are interested in. This will take you to a details page with your year to date information.
- Account Statements:
- First Mortgage: year to date interest paid is listed on the top of the first mortgage statement.
- Second Mortgage or HELOC: year to date interest paid is listed on the final page of the statement under "Current Year to Date (YTD) Financial Summary".
